No only do they keep the contents dry but they can keep the wet inside. I use small dry bags for carrying toiletries while travelling. Gone are the worries of have your shampoo or shower gel spill all over your clothes when away for the weekend.

Had some issues with the first bag, but firebox sorted that out very quickly and sent a replacement. A good waterproof bag with lots of room. Tested the bag on holiday in the Red Sea, kept everything nice and dry.

Strapped to the back of the motorbike, these come in handy when travelling distances not knowing what the weather will be like.
I used one when riding to Holland, knowing that if it rained all my kit was going to stay dry even if I wasn't.
