Say no to paper cups!
It's not the dumdum staff. It's not the ludicrously overpriced muffins or the generic muzak. It's not even the lukewarm frappacappadoodahs. No, what keeps us coming back to those oh-so trendy coffee shops is that take-away cup with the little slurphole in the lid. Trouble is, this design icon is made of paper and plastic so you can't re-use it in your home or office. Step forward the cheekily-named I Am Not A Paper Cup.
Two layers of porcelain keeps your coffee warm
Crafted in double-walled porcelain with a flexible silicone lid, this edgy take on a design classic is perfect for coffee fans who want to replicate that Noo Yawk-style rushing-to-work/slurping-on-a-latte vibe without leaving home. Eco-friendly, I Am Not A Paper Cup (we'll resist the urge to yell it out Elephant Man-style) will placate tree-huggers because it's the only coffee cup you'll ever need. And seeing as it costs little more than a couple of coffee shop cappuccinos, it will pay for itself in no time.
Silicone lid
Eco angles aside, everyone here at Firebucks loves this nifty vessel simply because there's something inexplicably satisfying about sipping from that silicone slot. Plus you won't slop its entire contents over your annual report/copy of Heat if you accidentally nudge it.
No more coffee stains!
Short of pilfering a few thousand paper cups from the bin outside your local coffee shop and then pulping them in your own recycling plant, we can think of no better way to drink coffee and save the planet. You can even be a proper rebel and fill your I Am Not A Paper Cup with tea (gasp!), hot chocolate (cheeky!) or - wait for it - orange squash (call the police!). The possibilities are endless.
Perfect for rush hour
In fact the only thing you can't do with this ingenious container is bite the rim so that it fits over your nose and do a Barry Manilow impression, before scrunching it up and chucking it in the overflowing bin in the high street. And that's good. Isn't it?

Ordered yesterday at 12, arrived today at 9.45. Super fast delivery.
I haven't had a chance to use it yet as it's just arrived, but first impressions are that it can hold a lot of coffee and the lid stays on very securely.
Thanks Firebox for another great buy!!!

I've just bought this item a few days ago, and it is surprisingly good! When I
first opened it, I was worried about the naff chemical smell from the plastic
top, but this washes off easily in hot water, and is not an issue. The lid
fits securely, and at no time does it feel like it is going to come off when
you drink from it - it's actually better than the ones on the TRUE paper cups,
as the top isn't brittle, and not liable to crack. The cup has a good
grip/feel to it, plus it insulates the drink very well - keeping it much hotter
than a real paper cup would - plus no pesky '3rd degree burn' heat transfer to
your hand! The outside does get a bit grubby if you have newspaper ink on your
fingers, or you've been a bit careless with the coffee making process (or
you've had too much coffee and your hands are shaking) - but it cleans off well
when you wash it, so no problem there. I would definitely recommend this item,
and I'd also REALLY recommend the AeroPress coffee maker
(http://www. Firebox. Com/product/1320/AeroPress-Coffee-Maker) to go with it -
quality coffee in seconds, literally! Well, no point in having this mug if
your coffee is the crap instant kind, is there? If you buy some decent coffee
(my favourite is the Star**cks Columbian blend, from Sains***ys - about £4,
enough for 20 mugs approx), the coffee result is the same as, or even slightly
superior, to what you can get on the high street - plus literally after you've
had about 10 to 20 mugs (just under £50 for both items), you're pretty much
broken even, price wise! (for me, that took about 2 days, and I have the
caffeine shakes to prove it!) Thereafter, you're saving money! Take these to
work and let your friends wonder how you're getting this quality coffee all the
time!
And then the inevitable begging and envy sets in.... "it's SUCH a bore.... Lol!"
I'm thinking of getting another for home, as well as work, because I just can't
stomach the dish water that ANY instant coffee is, in comparison - so I guess
that means another AeroPress, too? But I might have to switch to decaf.... .
I'm getting a little jumpy and the huge purple spots in front of my eyes are
obscuring my view of the giant pink elephants I can suddenly now see in my
bedroom - strange, when did I buy them???
